Have You Ever Felt Something You Couldn’t Explain... and Then It Happened?!

Have you ever walked past someone and felt uneasy? Or stepped into a room and instantly knew something was off? Maybe you couldn’t explain it, but deep down, you just knew. That’s intuition.

Maybe you’ve felt it in bigger moments too—like deciding not to go somewhere because something didn’t feel right, and later hearing about a car accident that happened there. Or thinking of someone you haven’t seen in years, only to run into them later that day or have them call you out of the blue. And sometimes, it’s heavier, like suddenly feeling a deep sadness about someone, only to find out later they’ve passed.

For some of us, this knowing is louder, sharper—like it’s a part of who we are. It’s not something we can ignore, even when we try. And while it’s beautiful, it can also feel heavy, like you’re carrying something the world doesn’t understand.

I’ve always felt different. Like I was on the outside, watching life happen, trying to figure out why I didn’t fit. I could feel things no one else seemed to notice—the sadness behind someone’s smile, the tension no one would admit was there, the strange energy in certain places. I didn’t know how to explain it, so I stayed quiet and tried to ignore it.

But you can’t ignore what’s meant for you.

Here’s the truth: everyone has intuition. Every single one of us. Maybe you’ve felt it in small moments—getting chills when something felt wrong or feeling drawn to someone without knowing why. But for some of us, it’s stronger. It’s like carrying a radio tuned to a station most people can’t hear. And that can feel isolating.

Being so in tune with emotions and energy isn’t easy. It’s like holding secrets that aren’t even mine. I feel things before people say them. I sense pain they don’t talk about. I’ve walked into rooms and had to leave because the energy was too overwhelming. And honestly? It’s exhausting.

But it’s also part of who I am.

If you’ve ever felt weird vibes or had those gut feelings you couldn’t explain, let me tell you something: you’re not crazy. You’re not broken. You’re connected. Those feelings aren’t random—they’re messages, guidance, or warnings. Don’t ignore them. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s “just in your head.” Trust them.

For a long time, I thought being different meant I didn’t belong. I felt like I was too much, too sensitive, too tuned in to things other people couldn’t see. But now I know the truth: being different means you’re here for something special. The more I’ve embraced this gift, the more I’ve found people who understand without me having to explain.

But here’s the thing: you don’t have to let those feelings control you. You can learn to trust and twist them into something that works for you. I know, I know—it’s hard to do. But start small.

Start writing things down. Keep a journal of those feelings and moments. The more you write, the more you’ll begin to see patterns and recognize what your intuition is trying to tell you.

Pray hard. Pray when you feel lost, when you’re scared, when you don’t understand what’s happening. Build a relationship with your Savior. Talk to God like you would a friend. He’ll guide you through it if you let Him.

Know this: you are meant to be here. You’re not a mistake. You’re not too much. You are loved so deeply by God who made you exactly as you are. You all have a purpose, even if you don’t see it right now.
